On the 21 of November, the first official horse racing track was opened, with a presentation of horses from all over Samos, in a small show. The track is close the the airport of Samos. |

Amazing line-up and a wonderful huge crowd.
This was the most successful festival in the Aegean ever! Almost 7000 people were there during these three days event. The Stranglers, Cyanna, Locomondo, Valkyries, Imniskoumbria, and Nigma made this happen

The 5th rock festival of Ireon turned out to be a music happening with all different kind of music-streams: Electro pop (Marsheaux, Mikro), world music (Palyrria, Greek ( Korgialas Evridiki, and French rock (Vegastar)

The last famous Ecker cup 2007 was ending on the 28 of October in Samos. A big event for the new marina close to Pythagorion. Over 100 yachts and 700 people from Croatia, Austria and Germany.

The biggest music event of Samos, turned out to be a great succes. This year with national and international bands like Aswad ( reggae from London) Locomondo, Mikro, Dionisis Kalafatis & Olga Venetsianou.

The biggest carnival event is every year in Karlovassi, this year it was a beautiful day with lots of sun, and lots of Greeks from all the small villages of Samos island.

The Patriarch, the "primus inter pares" of the world's Orthodox Patriarchs, arrived in Greece over the weekend, Bartholomeos met with local Samos officials, wine-makers and visited the Metamórphosi church in Pythagorion and the Monasteries Timios Stavros and Megali Panagia. |
